Can you finish that sentence?
I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Our Christmas was perfect! The best part was the nothingness (is that a word?) of it. We visited Mom’s family on Christmas Eve and Dad’s on the twenty-sixth. All the children opened gifts after everyone inhaled huge amounts of food. On Christmas day, we did nothing. The relaxation and special time with immediate family was the ultimate present.
I’m not bold enough to set resolutions for the New Year. I never keep them. But I am setting goals for myself and this blog.
Personally, I want to slow down and spend more quality time with loved ones. I want to spend less money and enjoy outdoor adventures and activities. I want to put down my phone for longer periods of time. I want to be present and focused.
For Charleston360, I want to continue to create original content and capture hidden gems around town to share with you. I want to tell stories about Charleston’s history. I want to post to the blog (at least) twice a week. I want to really interact with you guys.
Thank you so much for following along. Enjoy these last two days of 2019 and we’ll see you in 2020! Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram @charleston360!
